Privacy Policy

InstantBallpark is operated by K Group Web Solutions LLC ("we," "us"). InstantBallpark provides software that helps local service businesses offer ballpark estimate experiences and collect project leads. This policy explains how information is handled when a business uses InstantBallpark or when someone uses an estimator powered by InstantBallpark.

When a business creates or uses an InstantBallpark account, we may collect account and business information such as a name, email address, business name, phone number, website, authentication information, and subscription or account-status information.

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. InstantBallpark does not store full payment card numbers.

If you join the InstantBallpark partner program, we collect your name, contact details, business information, and referral activity. Partner payouts are handled through Stripe (Stripe Connect Express). Stripe collects the partner's bank account details, legal name, and tax information (including taxpayer ID) directly during Stripe's hosted onboarding, and we do not receive or store bank account numbers or taxpayer IDs. We store the partner's Stripe account ID along with the partner and referral information. Stripe may issue required tax forms (e.g. 1099). See Stripe's privacy policy at https://stripe.com/privacy. We keep partner information for as long as you are a partner and afterward as long as tax and accounting law requires.

When a person uses an estimator for a service business, the estimator may collect their name, email address, phone number, ZIP or postal code, project answers, estimate inputs, the ballpark estimate result, and the date and time of submission.

An estimator may also collect uploaded project photos and basic source or referrer information when it is available. The questions and information requested are configured by the service business operating that estimator.

We use information to operate InstantBallpark, provide ballpark estimate experiences, deliver leads to the relevant service business, notify businesses about new leads, provide account support, process subscriptions, maintain security, and improve the reliability of the service.

Information submitted through an estimator is collected on behalf of the service business that operates the estimator. That business decides what to ask and how to use the information. InstantBallpark processes it as a service provider for that business: we store it and deliver it to the business, and we use it only to provide, secure, and improve the service. We do not sell it or use it to market our own services to the people who submit it. The business is responsible for its own privacy practices, communications, and services. If you submitted information through an estimator, please contact that business about access or deletion requests. We will help the business respond.

We use carefully selected providers to help operate the service, including Cloudflare for application hosting, database, and storage infrastructure; Stripe for subscription payment processing and partner payouts; Resend for transactional email; Google for website and application analytics (Google Analytics 4); and the application's authentication infrastructure. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us.

Estimator users may upload project photos. Photos are stored privately and made available to the service business receiving the lead. They are not published for public viewing.

InstantBallpark uses authentication and session cookies and necessary browser storage to operate the application. Browser storage may also remember that a visitor closed an estimator popup so the popup is not repeatedly shown.

Partner referral tracking. When you visit Instant Ballpark through an approved partner's referral link, or by clicking a sign-up button (like "Start building free") on a designated partner page, we may place first-party referral cookies in your browser for up to 90 days. These cookies store a partner referral code and a randomly generated visitor identifier. We use this information to attribute qualifying account registrations to partners, measure referral activity, and administer partner commissions. We may record the referring partner, page visited, visit time, and a hashed visitor identifier, and associate qualifying referral information with your account if you register. Referral attribution may not work if you block or delete these cookies.

On our website (including sign-up, login, onboarding, and legal pages) and in the InstantBallpark application, we use Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies and collects information such as pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location, and referral source, so we can understand how our site is used. Google processes this information under its own terms; see https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout or by blocking cookies in your browser. Google Analytics is not used on estimator pages or embedded estimators.

We retain account and lead information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including requests for access, correction, or deletion. To ask a privacy question or make a request, contact us using the details below.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

InstantBallpark is intended for businesses and adults seeking service estimates. It is not directed to children.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes. When we do, we will update the Last updated date at the top of this page.
